The GET OUT marks the end of each Squatfabrik residency. It's the moment when the audience can experience, discover and discuss the work - or the reflection of work - made during the residency month.
For this second Squatfabrik of 2025, with Cristina Picco & Harold Lechien, the Get Out will take place on JUNE 6th, in the Galerie Terres Rouges at 6:30pm.
🔶 CRISTINA PICCO (LU/IT)
Cristina Picco is an Italian multidisciplinary artist based in Luxembourg since 2009, who graduated in 2021 in Textile Creation from the Academy of Fine Arts in Arlon (Belgium). Her practice, blending art and research, utilises visual and performative languages to offer immersive and collaborative experiences.
She is interested in storytelling and develops artistic projects that explore human interconnections, aiming to encourage hybridisation through empathy and authenticity. Currently, her research focuses on themes of fear and grief at the societal and community levels.
🔶 HAROLD LECHIEN (BE)
Harold Lechien (born in 1995) is a multidisciplinary Belgian artist who lives and works between Brussels and Tourcoing, where he is currently a resident at Le Fresnoy - Studio National des Arts Contemporains (2023–2025). Through his installations, films, and visual artworks, Harold Lechien reinvents and subverts images and objects derived from industrial commerce, exploring the fetishism of commodities that defines contemporary consumers. His work offers a unique perspective on the emotions that emerge from the production and emotional reception of images and industrial products. His creations cultivate a constant ambiguity between the human and their visual and material environment.
🔶 DJ set Goodboy
6:30pm > 9.30pm @ Kufa Summer Bar
Berlin-based Dj, Producer , and Drummer Pascal Karier has been active as Dj Goodboy since 2018 and is by now a regular in Berlin underground venues and radio shows. His kaleidoscopic dance sets build an intense energy on angular grooves, energetic jams and weird ambient vocal samples, providing a refreshing and dynamic experience for the crowd.
