About the event

The Longest Yarn Traveling D-Day Exhibit
This Unique Traveling D-Day Exhibit will be housed at Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum... and we are honored to be the first stop in America for this remarkable tribute!
- 80-meter-long knitted and crocheted collection of three-dimensional dioramas.
-Created to honor the 80 years since D-Day.
-Each panel portrays a different scene from the 80 days between the Normandy landings and the liberation of Paris.
- Some panels pay tribute to real WWII veterans.
- Crafted with historical accuracy and guidance from experts.
The exhibit will be here all summer (until Sept. 1, 2025) and is included with your admission to the museum.
