- Atlatl demos will be provided from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- Poverty Point Station Archaeology will be water-screening excavated soil from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., so the public is welcome to get their hands dirty to learn about archaeology from our archaeologists!
- Jr. Ranger programs are a great way to interact with the site at your own pace and earn your own Jr. Ranger badge!
Visitors are welcome – and encouraged – to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the full day of activities. All outdoor events will be weather permitting.

Children (3 and under) and senior citizens (62 and over) are admitted free of charge.
