Book Week 2025 at St Michael's Meadowbank

It's the 80th year for CBCA Book Week!
This week our St Michael's Book Week parade and Celebration day is Friday 22nd August (Week 5) and the theme is "Book an Adventure".

The day will begin with a Dress-up Parade at 9:15am in the lower playground area.

Parents and carers are encouraged to attend and enjoy the festivities.

Costumes can be inspired by any character or theme from your child’s favourite book,

In addition to the parade, there will be a variety of exciting activities planned for the day including art workshops from illustrator and Creative Designer Lesley Vamos

Our exciting St Michael’s Book Fair will also be held during Book Week from Monday 18 - Friday 22 August Week 5.

Your child will be given the opportunity to visit the Book Fair to create their own wishlist to bring home for your consideration to purchase.

Families can also visit the Book Fair before school (8:30 - 9:00am) and after school (3:20 - 3:45pm). The Book Fair will be set up upstairs in the break out area outside the Year 3 classrooms. The final opportunity to purchase books will be following the Parade on Friday 22 August till 10:45am.
