Tinctures II

You’ve made your own simple Folk Method Tincture, now its time to level up with Ratio Tinctures!

Kristyn Cook (Master of Science, Herbal Medicine), founder of Sacred Oak Apothecary, will be here to educate us and share the wisdom of the wonderful world of herbs!

During this fun workshop, you will learn all about how to calculate and make a ratio and alcohol percentage specific tincture (like what she makes!) and be able to create your own tincture in class, math and all, with the instructions from Kristyn.

You will learn how to figure out what ratio to make your tincture at and how to mix your specific percentage of menstruum* to extract the best possible product, and be able to put your newfound knowledge to the test by making your own single herb tincture in class.

Materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own notepad to jot down extra information.

*Please note that we will be using vodka as a menstruum in this class.
