The Tree Grasshopper by director Saul Melendez Vivian is from Mexico City and his theater background is amazing.

This show is a performance narrative that takes a look at the idea that art is a waste of time. That youth must forget about it and be "productive" that society can do without the enjoyment that the arts produce.
Traveling musically we share a humorous and joyful reflection on life, where it is not good to just work if you also cannot dance and sing.
All the Music that we use is alive, nothing is recorded Playing by the cast We 'll made it in english And the speaking parts are about 20 per cent of the whole play. The rest are music and action. It's a kind of cricket very noisie. That majes a sound like loud buzzing And theres a fable the tree grasshopper and the ant In spanish we call cigarra In english they uses only grasshopper, or cricket, but I found that tree grasshopper its the exactly name for the species.�����
