To commemorate the longstanding tradition of drinking on, off, and all around the stage, The Wit's Shakesbeer & Sanitas Brewing Company - Englewood present a FREE frothy, hopped-up tragedy with notes of romance and intrigue...at a taphouse!
THE PLAY:
Four Athenian lovers and a troupe of working-class actors get entangled in a series of mistaken identities and enchanted love potions thanks to a lovers quarrel between two spiteful faries.
THE THING:
The Wit's Shakesbeer is performing A Midsummer Night's Dream, an original 60(ish)-minute adaptation of the lauded Shakespearean comedy.
THE BEAUTY:
Actors imbibe before and throughout the entire show...hijinx ensue. "Lambic" pentameter..."Vienna-style" verse—frankly, few things fit together like theatre and beer!
