Griesbach Regatta

The Club's annual Griesbach Regatta will be held Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 at the Mascoma Lakeside Park.

This is a low-key open regatta that is great for sailors racing for the first time as well as occasional racers. There is no entry fee and it is open to anyone with a sloop who would like to participate. We will be using a handicap system to account for the differences between sloops. And yes, this is a sloop regatta, so no Lasers or Sunfish.

Registration is from 12:00-12:30pm at the Lakeside Park. We will hold a skipper's meeting at 12:30 with the first race starting at 1:30pm. Attendance is not mandatory if you've registered in advance by contacting us. We will get in as many races as we can and we will NOT start a race past 3:30.

After racing we will convene at the lawn next to the Barn at 194 Main Street for cold drinks, pizza, and an awards ceremony. Parking is available at the Lakeside Park.
