The final outdoor track race of the 2024/2025 season is hosted by the Federation themselves at historic Tatem Park, London.
.
Intended as an end of season send off, as something a little bit different, here a homage to the old (1 mile) and celebration of the new (3 lap slalom) combines with quirky alternative distances in the form of the 1/2 and 1/4 mile. Staples like the 500m feature here, alongside the rarely run points/elimination races which combine categories for double the fun, in more ways than one. The ever popular spectator's favourite Intercategory Knockout makes its return for 2025. FISS’ electronic timing enables real-time tracking and accurate results straight to your screen.
.
This event is suitable for new and experienced skaters alike, with skaters placed into categories according to their ability. For the very youngest skaters and those entirely new to the sport, there is a novice category. For those adult skaters who do not meet the speed requirements of the faster categories, but feel uncomfortable competing against children, Category 2A is the place for you.
.
For the category races, skaters earn points according to their finishing position in each race. The winner gains 1 point, second place 2 points, and so forth. At the end of the race meeting the skater with the least points across the category races is the winner of their category. For the combined races, categories will be classified separately. The list of races and distances, along with the cost of entry and information can be found in the discussion tab in this event and on the website.
.
Races may be increased or decreased as required if necessary according to the entries received. If the 2025 British National Outdoor Track Championships is weather affected as per last year, then this event may be used to run those races which cannot be run at the Championships.
.
Venue and registration opens at 09:00AM, with racing commencing at 10:00AM.
.
Registration closes at midnight on 3rd May 2025. There will be no late or on the day registration for this event, with the exception of novices who may enter online or on the day; we would however encourage them to enter online wherever possible.
