Introduction to Longsword at Leicester Longpoint

Ever wanted to learn to fight with a sword?

Then you've come to the right place! We're offering a free beginners session at Leicester Longpoint for anyone who is 18 years or older.

Equipment will be supplied (and cleaned before hand!) all you need to bring is yourself, a drink of water and suitable exercise clothing with non-marking footwear.

No prior experience needed.

At Leicester Longpoint we teach Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) of the medieval and renaissance era, in a modern and inclusive way. We take historical manuals and process them through modern sports science and teaching methods to give an effective and enjoyable experience.

Please arrive ready to start at 19:00, however there will be someone ready to meet you outside upon arrival.
