Swami's Sunday - San Clemente

This Sunday, we’re going to San Clemente via Camp Pendelton. This route has the option to turn around at any point… Las Pulgas, the campgrounds, or do the whole thing! It’s up to you. If you do the whole route, the turn-around is Surfin Donuts Cafe in San Clemente (70 miles).

We roll from Lofty Coffee La Costa. The goal is a steady state ride at B and C levels. That means staying in zone 2 on climbs as well as flat … a conversation-paced ride. No surging or attacking.
