Learn how to turn your yard into a water-friendly habitat that supports clean water and local wildlife. This hands-on workshop covers landscaping practices - like using native plants effectively and reducing runoff - that protect our lakes, rivers and ecosystems. You will be able to plan your dream backyard habitat with local experts and bring home some resources to assist you in your next steps.
Hosted by the North St. Louis Soil & Water Conservation District.

The North St. Louis Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) is a local government agency providing conservation and resource management services. In cooperation with federal, state and local agencies, the District provides technical assistance, cost-sharing and natural resource management information and education. Landowners, businesses, industry and agencies may request these services.
