Pie Day!

Only me! A reminder…. Pie Day is happening at The Crown on March 11th and frankly it’s the most important event since someone invented gravy…..

For one glorious DAY… we’re putting the diets, life choices and “I’ll just have a salad” lies to one side and embracing what Britain does best… pies the size of your head, mountains of mash and enough gravy to require structural planning permission.

Chicken Tikka pies, Philly cheesesteak pies, smoked brisket pies… even a couple of posh veggie ones for the people pretending they don’t want meat. And yes… there’s a warm cherry pie dessert because if you’re going to do Pie Day properly you may as well commit fully and roll home afterwards.

So grab your mates, loosen your belt a notch and get booked in… because on March 11th we’re celebrating the greatest food invention known to mankind… the pie.
