Introduction to Static Trapeze

Static Trapeze is ideal for those who are new to aerial, with many of the techniques learned during Static Trapeze training being applicable to other disciplines, such as Aerial Hoop. Additionally, Static Trapeze training can be a fantastic way of keeping fit, allowing you to get in a fully upper body workout whilst also increasing your core strength, and learning some dazzling new skills! This session will cover the fundamental principles to give you the best start to your trapeze journey!

Prerequisites: None, suitable for everybody!

What to wear: Comfy, stretchy clothing that won’t restrict your freedom of movement. Close fitting items are ideal as baggy clothing can become caught on the equipment. Additionally, long hair must be tied back, and all jewellery removed. This workshop is part of our Introduction to Pole & Aerial series. Whilst complete beginners are welcome to attend all of our beginner and mixed level sessions we understand that you may want to try something new when you are surrounded by others who are also giving it a go for the first time. In these sessions you will be able to try things out on the apparatus in a safe and supportive environment where everyone else is a total beginner too.
