Introduction to Aerial Rope

Aerial Rope, otherwise known as ‘Corde Lisse, is performed on a vertically hanging rope, and is closely related to silks and spanish web. Join Luke for this 60 minute session to learn the fundamentals of this exciting practice and kick start your Aerial Rope journey.

Prerequisites: None, suitable for everybody!

What to wear: Comfy, stretchy clothing that won’t restrict your freedom of movement. Close fitting items are ideal as baggy clothing can become caught on the equipment. Additionally, long hair must be tied back, and all jewellery removed.

This workshop is part of our Introduction to Pole & Aerial series. Whilst complete beginners are welcome to attend all of our beginner and mixed level sessions we understand that you may want to try something new when you are surrounded by others who are also giving it a go for the first time. In these sessions you will be able to try things out on the apparatus in a safe and supportive environment where everyone else is a total beginner too.
