Join the Town of Elon in the fight against identity theft!

Save the date for the Town of Elon's annual Shred Event on Saturday, May 17, 2025, to safely and securely destroy your sensitive information and confidential documents.

No appointment needed. Stop by and take part in this FREE event!

Items to shred: Old bills, Birthdates, Bank statements, Social Security numbers, Medical records, Passwords or PINs, Canceled checks, Addresses, Account numbers, Email addresses, Signatures, Phone numbers.

*Limit of three document boxes or 75 pounds of paper per attendee. Please remove documents from binders or notebooks. Staples, paperclips, and rubber bands are okay. Metal or household trash will not be accepted.
