Come and create with Marty a clay fish drift wood chimes for your garden. Marty will show some hand clay techniques to create the clay part of your chimes. Patricia and Marty will show how to use glazes in the second class to make your creations come to life.
****This is a 2 class event and you must be available for both. July 24th and Aug. 7th 6-8pm.****
You will need to bring drift wood, a piece to hang it from 2 ft long and smaller pieces 3-4 inches long for in the chime appox.10. I will try to collect some up to share and if you have extra please bring along. You will also need a rolling pin.
There is not cost to learn but there will be $10 for materials for Marty and $2 for Patricia for clay/firing and for glazes
BARTER - If this is your first time attending a barter-based skills-trade class, note that attendees are encouraged to bring an item(s) to offer in exchange for the knowledge shared in addition to any supplies required for the class.
Our facilitator's preferred items are listed below to help identify fair trades: Marty likes baked goods, preserves, plants or anything you've made. Patricia likes jam, homemade soap, baked goods and always, she loves words of appreciation.
