Through Waves and Gales Come Fishermen's Tales with Trygvie Jensen

LGHS and Egg Harbor Historical Society, in partnership with the Heritage Alliance of Door County History Days, are hosting a unique story-telling program at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor.

Trygvie Jensen is a Washington Island native, author, poet, photographer, reenactor, and 18th-century tailor. Trygvie will read from his second book, Through Waves and Gales Come Fishermen’s Tales, sharing some of his favorite stories as told to him by the local commercial fishermen and fisherwomen. “… It is their story of a life on the lake that was only sometimes shared amongst their peers…”

This program is free and open to the public.
