Winter Solstice

Winter solstice is the astronomical event that marks the shortest day and longest night of the year after which the days begin to get longer.

Come celebrate the returning light and lengthening days with us. Coyote (Terry Aleck) and White Wolf Woman (Christine Turenne) will lead us in tobacco ties and then an Indigenous hand drumming circle starting at 4 pm.

Afterwards around 5pm, we'll break bread or bannock together with a bowl of hot turkey soup. If it's -12 degrees or warmer, we'll have a campfire.
