💥Heads up – we’re meeting at a new location this month!
To accommodate a bigger group and a special training, we’re moving this month's meeting to Johnnie’s on 33rd in Edmond. They’re generously providing the back room at no cost — we just ask that attendees order food to support the space.
🗓 Monday, August 11
📍 Johnnie’s on 33rd | Back Room
🕕 Arrive at 6:00 PM and order some food (the room is free if we eat!)
🕡 Meeting starts at 6:30 and wraps by 8:00 PM
This month, we’re hosting a Rapid Response Training with CRNOK – Community Response Network Oklahoma in response to growing immigration and ICE activity across our state.
This training teaches you how to safely and legally respond when ICE is active in your community. You'll learn what to do (and not do), how to document properly, your rights, and how to support those being targeted - without making things worse. It's about turning bystanders into trained community defenders.
Whether you’re brand new or have been with us since day one, this is a great meeting to attend.
💡 Bring your questions, your appetite, and your commitment to standing up for Oklahoma families.
