Family Sourdough Class

Before the school year kicks off, join us for a sweet, slow afternoon of connection & creativity at Milk & Honey Coffee Co, August 9th, 1-3pm. Bring the whole family for a fun, hands-on sourdough workshop. While you sip your favorite coffee, you’ll learn the simple art of sourdough — just in time to add homemade bread to your school lunchbox routine. In this class each family will feed their own sourdough starter, shape loaves, and learn the skills to make homemade sourdough amidst the busy schedules the school year and life brings. Each family will feed & take home their starter, make & knead dough for a loaf, experience a demonstration on how to shape dough into loaves, and take home a printed guide with all of the information from the class with tips to bake the loaf. Each ticket includes three seats for you and your family members. Whether you’re a first-time baker or just want to make a memory with your kids before the school year begins, this is the perfect way to say goodbye to summer — and hello to warm ovens, cozy routines, and homemade loaves made with love.
