MVS Firth of Forth Unit are holding a drop-in session for members of the public to come and find out about the charity on Saturday 16th August from 1pm to 4pm at the Malmaison Hotel, Leith, Edinburgh.
MVS Liaison Director Nick Spencer said ”We would love to talk to anybody who has an interest in boats and the sea.
No experience is necessary as we offer full training to RYA standards.”
Regional Volunteer Officer Angela Carrington added ”We are excited to launch the new Firth of Forth Unit on the 16th August, with a Head of Unit already in place and a number of early recruits signed-up. This is a great opportunity to get involved with a new unit at its inception, and grow the unit into being a valuable resource in the Edinburgh community.
We’re also looking forward to meeting as many people as possible irrespective of age (over 18) or physical ability as there is a place for everyone in the MVS.”
