20 Years of Open Studios at Coburg House – August 1–3 2025

Coburg House Art Studios invites you to a landmark Summer Open Studios celebrating 20 years of creativity in Leith. From Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd August over 70 artists and makers open their studio doors for a weekend of discovery inspiration and beautiful work.

This anniversary edition offers a unique chance to explore four floors of working studios and meet the people behind some of Scotland’s most exciting contemporary art design and craft. From fine art painting printmaking and illustration to jewellery sculpture and textiles Coburg’s community of artists offers something for everyone.

Discover a vibrant array of art: figurative works by Stephanie Rew landscapes by Evie Rose Thornton abstracts from Joy Arden surreal scenes by Stephen Mangan and David Schofield and playful narratives from Lynne Hanley. Sculpture and craft lovers will enjoy Bryony Knox and Mette Fruergaard-Jensen. Jewellery highlights include Donna Barry Misun Won and sustainable makers Eleanor Symms and Fiona Luing. Add colour with Kaz Robertson’s resin or Beth Lamont’s ceramics. Discover textiles from K.Moods Knot Unknot PickOne and more. Plus prints by Jon McNaught and bespoke kilts by Rosekilts offer something truly unique for every taste.
