Step into Ballyjamesduff’s past and help shape a new piece of its history.
As part of Heritage Week 2025 and this year’s theme, Exploring Our Foundations, we’re inviting the whole community to celebrate the landscapes, stories, and traditions that have built our town.
🌟 What’s happening:
- Living Map Collage: Add your own mark to a giant illustrated map of Ballyjamesduff using colourful card and paper to record families, businesses, places, and memories.
- Heritage Photo Exhibition: Last year’s favourites plus new photos from you (send yours to be included).
- Share & Tell: Short story-sharing sessions with heritage objects and memories.
- Children’s Creative Table: Colouring sheets of Ballyjamesduff landmarks and fun heritage-themed activities.
This event is part of National Heritage Week 2025 and is hosted by Teach Solais Community Development CLG, the Ballyjamesduff Heritage Society and Ballyjamesduff Community Council. It is supported by The Heritage Council, Cavan Heritage Office, and Cavan County Council. We are grateful for their support in helping us celebrate and share the heritage of Ballyjamesduff.
