FW Shows and Broken Goblet present the Red Dirt Metal of the Texas Hippie Coalition, Wednesday, August 27th!
Texas Hippie Coalition is a heavy metal band from Denison, Texas, known for their unique blend of Southern rock, metal, and a touch of outlaw country, which they call "Red Dirt Metal". Formed in 2008 the band has released several albums, including Ride On and High in the Saddle, which have garnered attention for their energetic live shows and raucous, party-oriented sound.
When you think of the South Bronx, you don’t think of modern, melodic rock anthems, passionately aggressive vocals, heavy guitars, ripping solos, driving bass lines or pounding drums fills. However, that is exactly what Brand of Julez delivers night after night. Brand of Julez was formed by brothers Julez Zamora (vocals/guitars) and Brandon Zamora (bass/backing vocals) in 2011 at the ripe old age of 16 and 13. The band has since climbed their way up the NYC ranks with a passion and fury that cannot be denied.
Philly's trash metal outfit Eyes of the Living kick things off for a heavy metal midweek thrashing.
