The Root River Ride is a scenic and twisty motorcycle journey through the breathtaking bluff country of southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The adventure kicks off with a ride along the Mississippi River to Fountain City, offering stunning waterfront views before crossing into Minnesota at Winona. From there, riders carve through winding backroads to the charming town of Lanesboro, where a delicious lunch awaits. A stop at Iron Horse Outfitters is a must for checking out top-notch motorcycle gear before continuing the ride. The return trip winds through Rushford, past the picturesque views of Stone Point Park, and back home, making for a perfect day of riding through some of the region’s most beautiful landscapes.
