BBM practices are easily learned, safe, evidence-based mind-body techniques that fuse breathing techniques with simple movement and guided relaxation practices.
American medical doctors and psychiatrists Dr Richard Brown and Dr Patricia Gerbarg developed BBM. They are derived from BBM from many ancient practices, including yoga, qigong, martial arts, mindfulness, meditation, and modern neuropsychiatry. About Joanna Harper
Joanna Harper, MSc, has many years of experience teaching mind-body practices and breathwork. She is a Level 4 Breath-Body-Mind (BBM) Teacher and the Director of the Breath-Body-Mind™ Foundation UK programs. She has delivered international BBM programs and BBM teacher training courses with Dr Gerbarg and Dr Brown since 2021.
Joanna has a master’s degree in Transforming Integrated Health and Social Care and is an Accredited NLP Trainer, Certified Master Coach, Naturopath, Qigong and Yoga Teacher. In her 2022 book - The Trauma-informed Coach, Joanna demonstrates how she integrates BBM practices into one-to-one client sessions.
