This half day workshop is a must for those new to roadwork, and also serves as a refresher for more experienced workers. The course focuses on the proper setup and installation of temporary traffic control (TTC) for on-street work zones, low and high-speed lane closures, night-time operations, worker safety, as well as struck-by and caughtbetween hazards. This class will discuss the parts of a traffic control pattern and each part’s purpose in compliance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Creating a work zone safe for the traveling public in turn makes a safer environment for the road crew workers. Includes both classroom and hands-on training.
PRESENTED BY: Mark Freeborn, Public Safety Loss Prevention Specialist, The Trust
