Safety & the Supervisor

This half day workshop will help supervisors better understand the important role they play in creating a safe work environment and creating a positive safety culture within the workplace. Topics include the difference between accidents, incidents, and near misses, the different types of losses, the costs of accidents – both direct and indirect, accident/incident causation, prevention hierarchy of controls, accident investigation and root cause analysis, and how supervisors influence safety in the workplace.

Available to Members of The Trust's Property/Liability and/or Workers' Compensation Programs

Who Should Attend: Any employees who have supervisory responsibility, HR/Personnel, or any other employees who are involved in and/or have responsibility for workplace safety.

Registration Information:

• Deadline for registration is Friday, May 30, 2025
• Registration is limited to (4) employees per Member.
• There is a $50 “NO SHOW” fee for anyone who registers but then fails to attend the training.
