Ilene Prager Smith has always been a patron of the arts.
After 25 years as a clothing designer and a 16-year career
as a Special Education teacher, Ilene is now finding her
passion for watercolor painting.

Ralph Capozzi is a lifelong East Meadow resident that is
no stranger to our library. He has graced our walls with
his talents over the years. An art teacher for over 38 years
with Master in Fine Art from LIU, Ralph has won many
awards and accolades for his art. In his retirement from
Public School, he continues to teach painting in watercolor
and oils for the Town of Hempstead.
