We are pleased to announce our next U-BEACH community beach day in Mackay (September 2nd). Start time is 9:00am, so be sure to arrive early if you can!
This is an accessible event where we will roll out the beach mat, beach wheelchairs, and beach walkers at Harbour Beach, Mackay. Equipment will be available for children, youth, and adults.
We will support everyone to enjoy the beach with assistance for wheelchair transfers (including hoist), mobility and participation in beach activities. Beach activities will include walking/wheeling, swimming, sand games and sandcastles. Fundraising sausage sizzle also available (for a fee).
This event is delivered by our U-BEACH team, led by our local U-BEACH champion Helen, in partnership with our sponsors (please see flyer).
No registration is required, however please register your interest in attending to help us plan our activities and catering.
