Cookbook Club: Hawai'ian Recipes

Chefs, thank you for joining us last week for our adventures in Jamaican cuisine! We're looking forward to again welcoming you to the Senior Center on Friday, August 1st between 3 - 5pm, where we'll share samples of and swap Hawai'ian recipes. No RSVP needed!

When the first Polynesian voyagers arrived, the kanaka maoli (Native Hawaiians) found freshwater streams, fertile soil, and oceans rich with seafood. Whether it be poi, breadfruit, kulolo, or kalua pig, there's plenty of rich culinary culture from our 50th state to inspire our local chefs!
