Prism field trip to the Palmer-Warner House in East Haddam!

We have such a fun field trip coming up on August 9 - register now!

We will be taking a private tour of the Palmer-Warner house in East Haddam, led by our good friend Clare McCarthy of the Transqat Podcast. The tour will begin at 1pm at 307 Town Street, East Haddam.

The Palmer-Warner house is an important LGBTQ+ landmark, and the first historic house for the LGBTQ+ community in CT that is open to the public. It was the home of Howard Metzger and his life partner, Frederic Palmer, in the 40's and became a local safe space for others in the queer community to gather.

In addition to the tour, there is currently an exhibit called Letters of Unity, featuring letters that were written between Frederic and Howard.

Advanced registration is required. A $15 registration fee is appreciated for those who are able but as usual, we don't want cost to be the reason people can't come, so a "scholarship" option is available!
