Who's Mitch? Let us fill you in for those late to the party!
Born in Cresco, Iowa & brought up on a small farm in Elma, Iowa, living that small town dream where the corn was tall but Mitch's hair was taller! High school had him rocking bars on Saturday nights, while later years meant day shifts at the factory and night shifts strummin the guitar. Eventually learning bass, drums, keyboards & even sax & becoming what fans call him as a "one man band" & "human jukebox" . If he's heard it, he can probably play & sing it! Anything from Chuck Berry to Buckcherry & everything in between, as well as been recording many of his own originals since 1990.
Mitch's music career's been a wild ride, from tiny bars to the popular Mitchapalooza on the Mississippi River and Rock the Boat, Boat Float in Prairie du Chien, where he gets to jam on a house boat surrounded by few hundred boats & few thousand floating river rats. Now calling Waverly, Iowa home, he continues to line up shows for The Bar Flyz, The Mitch Laue Band, and solo shows all over Northeast Iowa and Wisconsin. And when he is off stage, he morphs into a ninja musician, popping up in random bars to rock out with anyone who wants to jam, and play requests for the locals that want to play a round of stump the musician.
