MST Thru-Hike (PADDLE): Yadkin River Shoals Access to Donnaha Access

Bring your kayak or canoe and paddle the 'blue alternative' of the MST, the Yadkin River State Trail! 6.7 miles starting at Shoals river access at Pilot Mountain State Park. Participants will meet at Shoals access and float to the bend wher Donnaha access is. *The paddle is contingient on water levels and participants should expect to adjust accordingly as well as be prepared for a long, fun day on the river. Proper equipment like lifejackets and paddles are necessary, along with enough water, snacks, sunscreen and anything else requried to enjoy a 2 and half hour float.
