Don’t miss Preservation Durham’s annual Home Tour — a rare chance to explore nine remarkable historic homes that have been lovingly maintained and adapted for modern living. This year’s tour celebrates homes recognized through our Plaque Program, each with a rich story meticulously researched and preserved by dedicated homeowners and volunteers.
As we wrap up our 50th anniversary, this tour is more than a walk through beautiful spaces — it’s a tribute to the resilience and charm of Durham’s historic neighborhoods. From elegant Victorian-era houses to mid-century gems, each stop offers a glimpse into the lives and legacies that have shaped our city’s architectural landscape.

🗓️ Saturday, May 17th & Sunday, May 18th (Rain or Shine)
🕛 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Come one day or both!)
🎟️ Early Bird Tickets:
$30 for Preservation Durham Members
$40 for General Public (Ends April 30)
Prices increase May 1
✨ Tickets include access to all homes over both days. Break it up into two days or see it all in one — it’s up to you! Kids are welcome (no strollers inside). Driving required between stops.
