Iain Abernethy Seminar

On Saturday the 11th of October 2025, I will be teaching in Durham! The theme will be the integrated practical use of Naihanchi / Tekki 1 to 3! This will include flow drills and applications for the series. Knowledge of all three kata is not required. I will also cover the history and nature of these forms. Attendance at this seminar will enhance your understanding of these important kata and increase your knowledge of close-range practical karate.

The seminar will run from 11am – 3pm at Belmont Community School, Buckinghamshire Road, Belmont, Durham, DH1 2AG (note updated postcode as the doors / parking used previously are currently inaccessible due to building work). The cost is £35 for visitors.
