Crazy Chester at Rubies on Five Points!

Come help us shake the floorboards with a beer in your hand and a song in your heart; Crazy Chester makes their Bull City debut at Rubies on Five Points in Downtown Durham on Sunday 8/10! Doors at 7:30, show at 8:00.

Formed in early 2020 for a series of one-off events, Crazy Chester is a homegrown tribute act to The Band, consisting of Durham & Carrboro musicians Jones Bell (Mellow Swells, Ravary), Charles Cleaver (Big Star's Third, Scivic Rivers, Lemon Sparks), Rob DiMauro (Heat Preacher, Mixtape Grab Bag), Justin Ellis (Slow Teeth, Ravary, Easter Island, Rafael Green Band), and Rafael Green (solo, Ravary), respectively recreating and playing the parts of Richard Manuel, Garth Hudson, Levon Helm, Rick Danko, and Robbie Robertson.
