Why do a Horsemanship clinic?
It will help you learn to communicate clearly and consistently using body language, tone, and intention.
It builds understanding and trust. Horsemanship training helps your horse understand your cues and expectations, reducing confusion and stress. It keeps your horse mentally engaged, preventing boredom and behavioral problems.
In summary, Horsemanship training deepens the bond between you and your horse. It builds trust, mutual respect, and a shared language. You become a better leader and partner, and your horse becomes calmer, more responsive, and happier. It's not just training—it's a relationship.
This will be a group clinic which will entail a groundwork session followed by a ridden session. If you wish to take part in both groundwork and ridden work, please come with your horses saddled up. if you wish to only do groundwork, there are exercises you can do during the ridden component as well.
The Clinic will run for 2 hours in a group setting.

A little about Brooklyn from Berrilee Equine
Brooklyn Symes from Berrilee Equine is a local horse trainer based in Berrilee. She has been a horse trainer since the age of 16, learning from many trainers around the country. However, her passion for horse training started when she met Steve Brady – a very renowned and knowledgeable horseman. His training techniques, and hers, are natural horsemanship and foundation based, demonstrating that the release of pressure is what trains the horse. These training techniques can be used in every discipline as they focus on the foundations of training a horse. Brooklyn trains in a very gentle and calm manner, and gets fast results.
Brooklyn personally trains for and competes in a range of horse events with her own horses, as well as training, and competing, her client’s horses.
