Come join me in my Wild Folk Medicine series and re-learn our ancestral skills of foraging and creating homemade folk medicine and wild food recipes. Each month we will explore what is in season, and will focus on a different plant and technique, including creating your own teas, tinctures, infused oils, honey and vinegars, salves/balms and syrups and sauces.
In August, we will meet: Yarrow
Learn how to identify and harvest this abundant and highly medicinal wound healing herb. We will discuss the internal benefits of yarrow tea, and taste some ourselves, and you'll have the opportunity to make a your own homemade healing salve.
On our walk, I will also be briefly discussing many other plants that are in season and how they can be utilised for food, medicine and magic.
This is your opportunity to connect more deeply with nature, the old ways, and your own health!
