The Velvet Queen – Planetarium Film Screening

Explore the high-altitude wilderness of Tibet in this special screening of the wildlife documentary The Velvet Queen.

High up on the Tibetan Plateau, among remote and inaccessible valleys, lies one of the last sanctuaries of the wild world. Vincent Munier, a wildlife photographer, takes the adventurer and novelist Sylvain Tesson there in search of unique fauna. For several weeks they'll explore these valleys, documenting their unusual inhabitants and trying to spot the snow leopard, one of the rarest and most difficult big cats to approach. See the lengths that passionate wildlife filmmakers and photographers will go to for the perfect shot and to shed light on the mysteries of the natural world.
