We, Sally Prebble and Jorinde Rapsey (founders of Peace Talks) were deeply touched when we first watched SEEN. The film speaks straight to the heart of what so many of us long for as parents: to truly contribute to our children’s wellbeing. Yet, in reality, this is not as easy as we'd like it to be.
SEEN tenderly explores the inner world of parenting - the challenges we so often carry silently, and the ways our own upbringing shapes how we relate to our children. At the same time, it offers a message of hope, illuminating what can truly support us as parents to build the connection our children so deeply need in order to thrive.
Our hope is that SEEN not only moves you, but also inspires you to seek the kind of support we parents so often need - so we can meet our children, and ourselves, with presence, clarity, and compassion.
We'll also have a short space for optional reflection and connection afterwards.
Whether you're a parent, caregiver, or simply someone who values meaningful relationships with children, this film is a heart-opening experience.
