The musical sisters behind Caramel Groove, Jules and Rachael Kesha, are no strangers to the stage. With roots in a musically gifted family, their passion for performance comes as a legacy from their mother, Emma, and the unwavering support of their late father, Harry. Following the heartfelt tribute shows for their late brother and musician, David, in 2023, the sisters continue to honour his memory through their performances, sharing the joy of music with audiences. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
This special show will take guests on a musical journey through the decades, featuring timeless classics from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Attendees can expect to groove to hits from iconic artists such as The Jacksons, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Prince, Dr Hook, ABBA, Whitney Houston, Patty LaBelle, Herbs, Ardijah, Earth Wind & Fire, En Vogue, and 10CC, among many. πΊπΌπΉ
In addition to their impressive setlist, Jules and Rachael recently performed with the Oxo Cuban's NZ band in a sold-out tribute for band member, Craig Reeves, at The Mayfair Theatre. Their mission is clear: to bring people together through the universal language of music and celebrate life! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
This lively event will feature New Zealand's renowned music producer and DJ 10A (Tenei Kesha), from CLUBKINGZ, Flava FM, Christchurch, promising an unforgettable evening of music and dance. 10A, a distinguished producer who has won the Vodafone Producer of the Year award, has collaborated with numerous artists nationally and internationally. As the night unfolds, he will bring his DJing expertise and captivating beats to keep the audience dancing. π₯π₯π₯
To ensure a professional and polished performance, the sisters work alongside Gordon Duff, an experienced sound engineer from πStrawberry Sound Dunedin, who provides top-of-the-line PA equipment, stage, and lighting for the event. β‘π€ππ€ππ΅πΆ
In the spirit of community, Jules and Rachael take pride in supporting local businesses and have performed for many community fundraising events. They have collaborated with John McDonald, owner of CBK, for many events. π¨π’π«
