This course will be held in Room 1LG 04 of the Dalhousie Building, University of Dundee.

WRITING FOR WELLBEING

Immerse yourself in the power of words in this five-week course on writing for wellbeing. Each session will guide you through mindful writing exercises, creative expression, and reflective journaling to nurture inner calm and self-discovery. Whether you're a seasoned writer or a beginner, this course offers a unique opportunity to slow down and cultivate a deeper sense of wellbeing through the written word.

Tutor: Sandra Ireland

Sandra Ireland is an award-winning poet and novelist from Carnoustie, Angus. In 2017, she won the Scottish Association of Writers’ Dorothy Dunbar Trophy for Poetry, and has been published in Seagate III, Furies and other anthologies. Her debut novel was 'Beneath the Skin' (2016) was serialised in The Dundee Courier in late 2020. Subsequent novels were 'Bone Deep' (2018), and 'The Unmaking of Ellie Rook' (2019). Her current novel 'Sight Unseen : A Sarah Sutherland Thriller' (2020) was voted The Courier's Scottish Book of the Week.
