Protecting People Through Safeguarding

The session will run 12.30pm-3pm, with lunch served at 12pm on arrival and refreshments throughout

We would encouarage more than one representative from your project to attend if possible

The session will cover;

· Safeguarding risks for public, volunteers, staff

· Engaging with people at risk / vulnerable adults

· Boundaries/Confidentiality

· Prevention

· De-escalation

· Adult Protection and Training (incl. Naloxone)

· Policy and procedures – whose are you following / do you need to implement them

· Scenarios / Roundtable discussions

· Q&A with services

· Other services and resources
