Fish with a Naturalist

Join Clean River Partners and Native Fish for Tomorrow to fish with a naturalist at the Cannon River Wilderness Area!

No prior experience or special equipment is required! You’ll learn about the Cannon River Habitat Protection and Restoration Program and the vital role of safeguarding fish habitats. You’ll also hear from Native Fish for Tomorrow about the importance of native fish in our ecosystem.

We’ll gather at the Cannon River Wilderness Area West Trailhead pavilion, and the fishing location is just a short 0.3-mile hike from there. The only requirement is a valid Minnesota fishing license, which can be easily purchased online.
