Halloween magic at the BC Forest Discovery Centre is BIGGER than ever with 11 nights aboard the popular Halloween Train!.
That's 11 fun nights of spooky train rides through our 100 acres with Halloween chills, new surprises and fun for more families beginning on Friday, Oct. 17th to Tuesday, Oct. 21st, and back Friday, Oct. 24th and running through to Sunday, Oct. 26th, and even again Tuesday, Oct.28 to Thursday Oct. 30th to accommodate even more families!
The great volunteers and staff are already working behind the scenes getting ready, building, and preparing to make this year the best Halloween Train event ever.
Doors open at 3:30 pm and trains run every half hour beginning at 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm with the Centre closing following the last train. If you're on a later train, you may wish to arrive an hour or so earlier to take in all the fun events around the Centre.
Activities each evening include crafts in the schoolhouse, train rides, trick-or-treat stations for the little ones, and live entertainment by Andy McCormack. There will be lots of hot chocolate, coffee and hot food available to purchase so you can sit back, watch the fun and enjoy the warmth of our popular fire pits. There's so much on site, so be prepared for lots of fun.
This is a family-friendly event but it can be a little scary for very young children after dark and we suggest that you bring them early before the sun sets.
Don’t forget to dress up in your best costume!
