Historically, “The Cookout” is a place to celebrate culture, pass down stories, make new memories, enjoy family recipes, and show off the latest line dances. On June 28, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Potomac Shores’s Social Barn, The Onyx Project Family will gather for our first annual Cookout. In addition to delicious eats from veteran-owned Blue Southern BBQ, there will be games (including R & BINGO), a DJ, line dance class, and a pop-up bookstore presented by Mahogany Books. Consider this your official invitation to The Cookout!
