Every year on July 4th, Americans come together to celebrate Independence Day, marking the historic moment in 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was adopted, paving the way for a free and independent nation. From fireworks and parades to barbecues and family gatherings, it’s a day filled with patriotism and pride. Now, you can add a new tradition—The Running Bug’s 4th of July Virtual Run! Whether you’re in the U.S. or inthe UK, this event lets you run, walk, or jog any distance, anywhere, at your own pace to celebrate freedom and fitness. Run, walk or jog any distance on the 4th of July. We also accept treadmill activities.
All participants will receive a beautiful white finisher's medal for their achievement. This medal is made from aluminium and comes with a plain colour ribbon.
Once you have completed your challenge, simply go to our website and upload a screenshot of your activity on our secure submission form at https://the-running-bug.com/submit-your-evidence/
We do accept entries from overseas participants. However, please note that is an extra charge to cover postage costs. In the event that a resident with a non-UK address purchases a standard UK entry, then we reserve the right to refuse the entry and refund in full.
