Songs & Stories of the Heart: FinnFest USA 2025 Choir Concert

The Finnish International Choir | Ulkosuomalaisten suurkuoro is BÄÄÄÄCK at FinnFest USA 2025! Looking forward to a smash hit concert of well loved Finnish choral works, an original Finnish American composition and solo by Steve Solkela, and the premier launch of a commissioned Finnish poetry work turned into beautiful song! Tervetuloa! We have over 30 members coming in to sing and share this high class music experience with FinnFest attendees.

The Finnish International Choir is a vibrant, global ensemble that unites voices from all corners of the world. Founded in 2021 by Maria Männistö and Eva-Christina Pietarinen. The directors were featured on the April edition of the Suomen Silta | Finnish Bridge Magazine in 2023.

Join us for an evening of beloved Finnish and Finnish-American songs featuring choir singing and kantele playing. This special concert will feature personal reflections from choir members on the songs that connect us to our roots, our stories, and our hearts. It’s a memorable evening that blends music and storytelling into a celebration of Finnish culture.
